Kuban Chetty was born in Port Elizabeth and studied at the University of Port Elizabeth (now known as Nelson Mandela University). Kuban has a love of learning, which lead to him graduating with a BCom in 1992, a BProc in 1999 and an LLB (Postgraduate) in 2000. After completing his articles of clerkship, he was admitted as Attorney in 2001 and thereafter as an Attorney of the High Court in 2002. During his articles of clerkship, Kuban focused primarily on criminal and civil litigation. Kuban attends to some of the Corporate and Commercial clients as well as High Court Litigation (including Appeal Courts, Supreme Court of Appeal and the Constitutional Court). He also attends to urgent Application proceedings, in addition to overseeing the various divisions and staff at the Firm. Kuban opened the firm in 2003 and has been successfully building a formidable reputation whilst running the practice for over eighteen years. Kuban is well loved by clients and staff alike for his caring, conscientious and professional manner.
